[VIDEO NEWS] Jeju Light Art Festival

1) Jeju LAF, short for Jeju Light Art Festival, is an exhibition that displays works by artists who use light as a medium.

2) The Jeju LAF covers 100,000 square meters (24.7 acres) of the town of Jochon and is becoming more famous as a sightseeing attraction at night with its large light-related works.

3) The largest piece at the festival is “Oreum” by Bruce Munro, a world-renowned artist in the field of light art.

4) For this year’s Jeju LAF, a total of 14 works will be displayed from six world-famous artists: Bruce Munro; Tom Fruin; Jen Lewin; Jason Krugman; Jean Pigozzi and Lee Byung-chan.

5) The Jeju Tourism Organization and management for Jeju LAF have been preparing for this event for three years to promote artistic content that would help people experience Jeju Island’s natural environment.
