[VIDEO NEWS] South Korea sends medical team to Laos.

1) A medical team from South Korea set out to Laos to help those affected by the dam collapse. Two government cargo planes were sent to Laos on July 29.

2) “We are going to do our very best to help in the restoration and rebuilding of the damage done.” - Roh Dong-hwan, the medical team leader of the Korea Disaster Relief Team.

3) The aid team consists of 15 medical experts for internal medicine, emergency medicine and otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and five supporting staff.

4) The team is planning to stay in the area for 10 days to provide aid in the prevention of infectious diseases and treatment for locals in the affected areas.

5) Relief supplies arrived in Laos on July 28 via a government cargo flight.
