BTS works with Kakao, Line for ‘Love Myself’

Jan 31,2018

Mobile messenger applications Kakao Talk and Line are participating boy bans BTS’ “Love Myself” campaign. The joint campaign with Unicef is mainly aimed at protecting children from violence.

“Both Kakao and Line released emoticon sets on Tuesday that contribute to the campaign,” according to Big Hit Entertainment, the group’s agency, on Tuesday.

In addition to the emoticon, when a user shares or leaves a comment on the “Love Myself” post on Together With Kakao, the company’s platform for donations, an additional 100 won will be donated. Happybean, an online donation website from Naver, also supports the campaign.

The seven-member group had an extraordinary year in 2017, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with album “Love Yourself: Her” and performing at the American Music Awards, a first for a K-pop group.
