Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

Through Jan. 6: To celebrate the end of the year and share the warmth of Christmas, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas will hold the charity event “Christmas Tree of Hope.” Celebrating its 16th anniversary, the Christmas Tree of Hope has been a signature charity event at the luxury hotel industry since 2003.

This year, the Christmas Tree of Hope will be made of 200 Winterberry pots, and each vase will bear the logo of the sponsor or a “Love Card” that the sponsor wants. The Christmas Tree of Hope will be exhibited in the hotel lobby until Jan. 6. Winterberry means “a bright and cheerful heart” in the language of flowers. It expresses the warm heart of those who participate in sharing every year. Winterberry pots are priced at 100,000 won for a small size, and 1 million won for a large. Donation receipts can be issued.

The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas showcases its Christmas decorations, including the Christmas Tree of Hope display, in the lobby area, two weeks earlier than the previous year. Under the main theme of “Invitation of Christmas Night,” the hotel facade and landscape will be decorated with lighting and ornaments to portray the Milky Way in the night sky and a Christmas night filled with shining stars of hope. Interior decorations will feature red and gold wreaths on pillars, in addition to a luxurious and cozy lobby with birch adornments. The Parnas Tower lobby connected to the hotel, a modern space highlighting the vertical beauty of its architecture, will be embellished as a stunning snow forest with lights and ornaments on white branches, providing a great end-of-the-year photo spot for visitors.
