The Lion King (All)

The beloved 1994 animated film is back, featuring the voices of Beyonce as Nala and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa.

In the Pridelands, young Simba is a lion cub unlike any other because he will follow in the footsteps of his father Mufasa and become the next king. Simba idolizes his father, but tragedy strikes when Mufasa dies in an evil scheme set up by his younger brother Scar, who was always spiteful that he didn’t get to be king. Simba, traumatized over his father’s death and thinking that it is his fault, runs away from his home and family.

Away from home, Simba meets Timon and Pumbaa, a meerkat and warthog. The unlikely trio spend carefree days in the jungle until Simba comes across Nala, his best friend from childhood. Unaware of Simba’s trauma, Nala tries to persuade Simba to return to the Pridelands.



The Silence (15)

Researchers on a cave expedition unearth a myriad of unknown flying monsters, which are later referred to as the vesps.

The creatures, after violently killing the researchers, are drawn to the noisiest areas on earth.

When the news of the vesp attack hits the country, people are thrown into chaos, but they must refrain from making any noise if they want to survive.

People eventually learn that the creatures are blind and can only hear, making them sensitive to noise. Ally, a teenager with a hearing disability, suggests to her family that they move to the countryside to hide. But can the entire family get to safety without getting killed by these creatures? Moreover, will the human race ultimately learn to adapt to a soundless lifestyle under the dominance of the vesps?

On a peaceful afternoon, the detective is with his assistant Brown enjoying a quiet teatime, when Bbooram, an owner of a curry restaurant, arrives with an enormous shopping bag asking for the detective’s help.

Bbooram was getting ready to open up a new eatery, but discovered that an important spice has gone missing.

“I cannot make curry without that spice! I cannot open my own place without it!” Bbooram faints due to shock, and the Butt Detective is determined to find the missing spice. He investigates whether it simply went missing or was stolen by a thief.

Zoe works in a research lab that predicts the success rates of couples’ relationships. She soon falls in love with her co-worker, Cole, as they become close through working together.

Yet when the possibility of a relationship with Cole comes out as zero percent, Zoe ignores the statistics and confides her feelings to him anyway.

The response she gets from him turns her world upside down: Cole tells her that she feels love for him because he is her creator. Zoe is a synthetic human designed to feel emotions, and this was part of a lab experiment with the ultimate goal of providing lonely humans with such robots capable of filling the gaps in their lives.

The pair becomes confused by their feelings and questions the meaning of true love.

Young-hoon arrives home to find that his wife has been murdered in cold blood. The evidence found at the crime scene points to a man he’s never seen before in his life.

When the suspect is arrested, his wife, Da-yeon, is determined to clear her husband’s name and tells Young-hoon that she will help him find the true culprit. While tracking the killer, Da-yeon finds a missing piece of evidence that Young-hoon hid from police and Young-hoon uncovers Da-yeon’s own lies.

As they come closer to the truth, they grow ever-more suspicious of each other.

Young-hoon is played by actor Song Sae-byeok, whose other works include “Seven Years of Night” (2018) and “The Sound of A Flower” (2015). Da-yeon, portrayed by Yoo Sun, was recently featured in “My First Client” (2019).



Homme Fatale (15)

The Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) is facing a depression, and Yeonpunggak, the once-popular entertainment center that catered to men, is going through a financial crisis and is on the brink of closing.

Meanwhile, the handsome and beguiling Heo Saek - a seductive bachelor who can sweep any woman off her feet with charm alone - hears that Yeonpunggak, his childhood home, is in danger of shutting down, and decides to take matters into his own hands by becoming the first-ever male gisaeng, the Korean equivalent to Japan’s geisha.

With the help of the headmistress of Yeonpunggak, Nan Seol and his accomplices, word begins to spread around the women in Joseon, and they all gather excitingly to see and enjoy the services of the young, handsome gisaeng.

Yet while business booms, the news also reaches the nobles, who are furious that Heo Saek is creating chaos and destroying their society’s social order - they will do everything in their power to bring him down.

Heo Saek is played by singer-turned-actor Lee Jun-ho, a member of the K-pop boy band 2PM. Actor Yae Ji-won plays the role of Nan Seol.



Spider-Man: Far From Home (All)

Parker is eventually recruited by Nick Fury to battle these new villains, and on the way he meets Quentin Beck - also known as Mysterio - who becomes Spider-Man’s new accomplice, but has a mysterious background.

Quentin Beck is played by Jake Gyllenhaal, while Samuel L. Jackson plays Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders stars as Maria Hill. This is Jackson and Smulders’s first appearance in the Spider-Man series, and Gyllenhaal’s debut role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.



John Wick:
Chapter 3-Parabellum (18)
