Howard Kim to head HSBC’s global banking for Korea

HSBC announced that it was naming Howard Kim head of global banking for Korea.

According to the bank, Kim, who has 20 years of experience in investment banking, will be joining from Morgan Stanley, which he worked for in positions in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul.

Kim has an MBA from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

“I am delighted to welcome Howard Kim to HSBC,” said HSBC Korea CEO Jung Eun-young.

“His decades of experience in investment banking will be helpful in supporting our clients to find new opportunities.
