CEO Joe Seok of the music start-up Muzlive introduces his company at SparkLabs’s Demo Day, held Thursday at COEX in southern Seoul. Muzlive was one of the first of 11 start-ups that participated in SparkLabs’ accelerator program earlier this year. It manufactures Muz-kits, which are smart music devices that can play songs, albums and videos when connected to smartphones and tablets. The one-year-old company has already made products for major K-pop companies like SM Entertainment. SparkLabs is a six-year-old accelerator that invests in promising start-ups across the globe. A total of 99 companies have participated in its program, including the beauty start-up Memebox and the restaurant review app MangoPlate. [SPARKLABS]
