[VIDEO NEWS] The 15th “Dalma Open Snow Festival” takes place

1) The Dalma Open Snow Festival, the gateway to Korean snowboarders’ success, was held last Thursday.

2) The title “Dalma Open” was the participants’ idea.

3) The championship, with prize money of 10 million won ($92,500) raised by the Buddhist Monk Hosan when it first began, has just been held for its 15th year.

4) It has been co-managed with the Korea Ski Association since last year.

5) Also, it now counts as an international contest where points for the International Ski Federation (FIS) can be earned.

6) The total prize money is now 100 million won.
