[VIDEO NEWS] Largest luminaire theme park in Korea opens in Chungju

1) “Chungju Light World,” located in the “Lake City” Chungju, North Chuncheong, opened on April 13.

2) Light structures shaped after landmarks and symbolic monuments around the world, such as the Eiffel Tower, the windmills of the Netherlands and the Taj Mahal, are placed in the world theme zone.

3) A structure of Saint Peter’s Basilica and its 100-meter-long (328 feet) light tunnel made out of one million LED lamps is also an impressive sight.

4) Structures of the Joongang pagoda and Goryeo (918-1392) celadons are in the Chungju theme zone, while original works of light artists can be found in the art zone.

5) Chungju Light World is also planning to build a structure based on Noah’s Ark that will be three stories tall and 135 meters (443 feet) long.
