[VIDEO NEWS] A helicopter crash in the Han River.

Dec 03,2018
1) On the morning of Dec. 1, a Korea Forest Service (KFS) helicopter crashed in the Han River near the Gangdong Bridge, eastern Seoul.

2) A total of three people were aboard the helicopter at the time of the crash. The two pilots survived: one was rescued by Han River police while the other swam ashore. Both sustained injuries.

3) The third individual, a mechanic surnamed Yoon, was discovered unconscious and transported to a hospital. He later died from cardiac arrest.

4) The helicopter — a KA-32 chopper, a model often used by the KFS — seems to have crashed while trying to pump out river water to put out a fire on nearby Mount Yeongchuk.
